Mischief Cafe is a small, quirky cafe on Guyton Street, run by its current owners since 2021 and true to its name, with cheeky signage and a flip calendar of witty quotes. Step inside or through to the courtyard for a combined breakfast and lunch menu that runs from the Mischief Bene and Turkish eggs to house-made waffles and a vegan vege stack, alongside paninis, bagels and fresh sandwiches made to order. The full cabinet carries salads, scones and cakes, and the coffee is made with Karamu fair trade organic beans. Orders can be placed online ahead of time and are prepared as takeaway coffee and food unless you ask to dine in.
