What ERO found

The Education Review Office’s latest report on the school is a private school review from August 2022. These reviews are narrower than those for state schools and check only whether a private school meets the legal criteria for registration.

ERO found the school met every criterion, including suitable premises, staffing, equipment, curriculum and tuition standards, fit and proper managers, and a physically and emotionally safe place for students, with its safety policies reviewed regularly. The school is a signatory to the code of practice for the pastoral care of international students, though none were enrolled at the time.

Enrolling

As a private school, St George’s runs its own admissions. Families begin with an online enrolment registration and a registration fee, then are invited to an interview with the headmaster and a tour of the school, usually within a year of the planned start date. The headmaster considers every application, and successful families receive a letter of offer and enrolment documents.
