Art by the River
A contemporary art gallery on Bell Street in central Whanganui, showing New Zealand artists alongside collectable international work.
About
Art by the River occupies the historic United Ancient Order of Druids building at 1B Bell Street, a short walk from the Sarjeant Gallery in central Whanganui. The gallery was founded by Richard Browes, an art collector and dealer with more than 30 years in the trade, and shows a curated mix of established and emerging New Zealand artists.
